Bon Jovi On Lost Highway

Bon Jovi is set to release its ninth album of original material, "Lost Highway," June 19 and the set's first single, "(You Want to) Make a Memory," hits radio today (03/20).

Tour plans to support the new record have yet to be announced, but at least one date is on the books: the July 7 star-studded Live Earth concert, a 24-hour event that will stretch across all seven continents to bring attention to the climate crisis.

Meanwhile, Bon Jovi will start promotional appearances next month, performing April 16 at the CMT Awards in Nashville, May 2 on Fox's "American Idol" and June 19 on NBC's "Today Show."

The title track from "Lost Highway" can be heard in the film "Wild Hogs" and the tune "We Got It Going On" - a duet with Big & Rich - is the theme song for the new Arena Football League season on ESPN.

The forthcoming set, produced by Dan Huff (Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts) and John Shanks (Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge), apparently continues Bon Jovi's country-music leanings, which started with 2005's "Have a Nice Day." That record spawned a Grammy-winning collaboration with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, "Who Says You Can't Go Home," which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. It marked the first time in almost 30 years that a top-billed non-country artist snagged the No. 1 spot with their first attempt at the country chart, according to Billboard.
